Cropped Coraline

Pattern: Coraline by Ysolda
Yarn: Elsabeth Lavold Hempathy( in black)
Modifications: Made the body and sleeves shorter. Also did a folded cuff at sleeves same as the hem. Only used one button at neck.
New Skills: Smocking, first round yoked anything, slipped stitched edging and sewn button loop. (Told you I'd be learning new things)!
Thoughts: Love it!! Perfect use of my leftover Hempathy.....great pattern...thanks Ysolda this is most definitely one of my most favourite knits....and it's mine to keep!
(and yes I did muck around with the photo editing again...hard to photograph black)!

So cute and stylish, I love your mods :)

Actually I think my very favourite thing about Coraline is that the body and sleeves are such a blank canvas, it's so much fun to see people making it their own.

WOW! What can I say. Another amazing knit. It looks so great in the black - it will just go with so many things. I love the length. Beautiful work.

Stunning Gudrun...it really suits you...your photos are very cool and really show off your knitting, not to mention your beautiful fair porcelain skin. It's lovely to see more of your gorgeous hair again too. I was reminded of our 60's Mum in some of the shots!!
Love it! bxxx

It's been the best weather I've ever experienced in Shetland, this year. I think there was only one or 2 days in the whole month of May that the sun was not out. And with the light nights, Shetland is a magical place to be for sure.
