An Audrey Of My Very Own!

After seeing so many gorgeous Audreys pop up on Ravelry (111 projects to date) I've been wanting to make another to add to my own wardrobe. The original is still with Twist Collective and in a shade of red that's not the most suitable for my tones.....and I plan on giving that one to my sister who immediately coveted it on it's publication!

I seem to be particularly drawn to purple these days and found the exact shade I was looking for in Soft Sea Wool by Great American Yarns. This yarn also has great stitch definition so the Unst Lace really pops.

Buttons were picked out yesterday at WEBS (I think they're tagua nut) and sewn on this morning.
So happy to have a new cardi!

I already loved the pattern -- but in this purple, it's really amazing!

I have yarn almost the same color waiting to become an Aestlight, in fact. :-)

Gorgeous cardi, just saw the photo on flickr and had to come and have a look and read. Love the shorter fit, perfect for layering. Love, love love

Looks lovely on you. I've started being drawn to plums and purples too! Isn't it funny how that happens.

Whoo hoo - just read your comment about the red cardi - thank you sooooooo much sis! Can't wait to get my hands on it. Love the purple on you - suits you so well and the buttons compliment the purple so well. Love you! x

Need Audrey help. My wrap and turns on the knit side do not look the same as the wrap and turns on my purl side. Would be fine except when I started the second sleeve and realized that fronts have the knit wrap on the right front and the purl wrap on the left front.

How did you all get them to match?
