Just bought your lovely pattern so thanks for taking time to do tutorial. Love the edging. Im even thinking of making one in a tweedy cashmere for a male friend, who has expressed interest, for Christmas. hookie uk
Hi I am very grateful for your gifts. The shawl is lovely and I can't wait to get started. The tutorial is very helpful. I am newly 60 and I marvel at technology that brings your lovely talent to my breakfast table in Idaho. So I'll be digging out my needles and making a stash dive. Hugs Judy
I had no trouble with the second row--it was always clear where to do the k1p1 into the double YO, but it was not as clear exactly what the stitches looked like when I did the 1st row. If I screwed up on the preliminary stitches I'd get "off". This tutorial made it much clearer.
I was born in Shetland, but grew up all over Scotland. I now live with my novel- writing husband (David Anthony Durham) and two kids in the woods of Western Massachusetts!

This is a beautiful shawl pattern. How much yarn is required?
I love how you're wearing it as a scarf with all the lace pattern showing around your neck....just lovely.
This was really really helpul to me, thanks!
whops! Helpful
Just wonderful. Your instructions and explanation were most clear and concise. Thank you for making the time to create and share this.
Thank you. I knew something was not right with my birdseye lace portion.
That was great! Very clear and helpful. Thanks so much for putting that together.

Thank you! This was very clear and helpful. I've been failing miserably at the Shetland Shorty shrug, but now I can return to it with confidence.

Thank you. I can't wait to start this as soon as the Tour de Fleece is over.
