Linga

I'm back in the West and feeling seasonally confused once again......leaving chilly dark days in Scotland for sunny mid 70's temps in California!
Owing to jet lag I've been up at 5:30 am every morning since being back (and I'm not a morning person)! However being awake in the wee hours has meant that I've finally sorted out the pattern for the Linga beret and I can now offer it for purchase!
(Thanks again to Christy for speedy test knitting)

Beautiful, Gudrun! The lace kind of looks like the lace in the Vaila sweater... Glad you're back safe from your trip.

What a gorgeous pattern! Thanks for writing it up.

The weather is SO WEIRD in northern California. Even San Francisco has been warm enough for short sleeves lately. Where's the fog?!

The change in weather must seem crazy. Love the beret, will probably indulge myself at the weekend and buy the pattern. Will it lend itself to rowan scottish tweed dk do you think? Its slightly 'firm' but I have two balls of a lovely slate grey which I bought with the intention of making a beret and this would be perfect.
