I designed this for knitonthent.com ......it came out today.....it's free.....made from yummy habu silk! Oh yeah...and they did a wee interview with me too!
Excellent. I am definitely downloading that. I love how it flares out a bit on the bottom, it just looks comfy. I wonder how the Habu is to work with. I am struggling with the pineapple yarn I have from them. It is very tedious to knit with - a lesson in patience.
Just catching up with you after a week on vacation...really like the look of this!(And I like the Hap Shawl in your previous post too!) Nice interview too. Have a great time "at home":-)
Oooooh...I love it! Great interview, too. It was very interesting to hear about your mother's career and see photos of her amazing work. You mentioned that you might be creating patterns based on some of her designs -- if you end up doing that, I greatly look forward to it!
It's gorgeous Gudrun :) Congratulations on another lovely design! And I loved the interview and story of your mom and her knitting as well - very inspiring!
This is really really cute! I have some cotton yarn, I might try to make a swatch with, to see if I can use it.....!:-) Elegant...and at the same time a project who would suit different kind of persons.....big or small!:-)
Sorry your life seem to me off track.....I sure do know all about, how that is!:-(
I was born in Shetland, but grew up all over Scotland. I now live with my novel- writing husband (David Anthony Durham) and two kids in the woods of Western Massachusetts!

Lovely design gudrun. I'm making this one my holiday knitting project as I've just taken delivery of some Habu silk. Can't wait.
Love the interview too, I found the photos of your mum's work so inspiring.
